PasSafe is a convenient desktop tool to manage security passwords and user access codes and can be used to randomly generate hard to crack 7 character passwords. The PasSafe database is highly encrypted to ensure the integrity of the stored data. Web site URLs and email addresses can automatically be linked to the display of a password. Forgotten passwords can easily be recovered by utilizing 1 or more key questions that can be created during setup. PasSafe automatically closes after a period of inactivity and for added security from view by a passerby, does not show the password until a Show password button is used. There is no limit to the number of codes and passwords stored and items can be categorized for convenient retrieval.
