Network Chemistry announces the release of the Neutrino Sensor for distributed analysis and monitoring of 802.11b networks. The Neutrino Sensor is a hardware appliance which captures and analyzes wireless network packets. Combined with a management console the Neutrino Sensor can be used to build a wireless intrusion detection system (IDS).
The Neutrino Sensor hardware is a key building block for wireless IDS. It can be used with open source wireless monitoring software like Kismet, together with an in-house security monitoring policy, or as part of a completely new wireless product.
